A popular place to be on Saturday morning is the farmers market at
Market Street. Vendors come in early to set up their booths, although
the market hours are 8-11 a.m.

Deborah Mailhot is a Woodlands entrepreneur. She custom designs jewelry
and says she brakes for all bead shops when she travels. Her designs
are in semiprecious stones, including quartz, turquoise and onyx with
touches of sterling and gold-filled beads. Her booth also has handmade
pens, letters openers and bookmarks. She designs bracelets and
necklaces with magnetic clasps for children so they can open and close them.

Deborah is one of the designer vendors who help keep the market going
while the growers are producing their gardens.
